Smt. Swarn Lata Sethi D.A.V.Public School (Sr. Secondary) under the aegis of D.A.V. College Managing Committee, Chitra Gupta Road, New Delhi-110055 started in the year 1990 as a preparatory school in a rented accommodation. Gradually and steadily it became Primary school and then the school got its recognition for middle classes in the year 1995 by Directorate of Education, Govt.of N.C.T. of Delhi. This 2006-07 is the sixteenth running year of the school. The school was upgraded to class X in the year 1997 and affiliated by C.B.S.E. in the year 1997. With a good team work and tireless efforts of the Principal, the school attained the Senior Secondary status in the year 1998-99.

My daughter (Rashi Sharma)have studied L.K.G in your school in year 2007, but because of my transfer in Hyderabad she had to leave the school in between and later she has done futher study in Hyderabad. Now she is giving her exam for class 2nd through Army Public School golkunda.
We are again coming back to Delhi and wish to put her along with her brother in your school, who is completing his L.K.G.
